About me and my therapy practice
Happy New Year! Although this is usually considered a joyful holiday season for many people, it is a truly difficult time for others and might feel like a period of intense loneliness, sadness, and anxiety.
I am here to connect with you and support you. I am committed to listening to you and working cooperatively with you to so that you can live life with quality. Often therapy is about learning new ways to cope and think about situations, or it may be about finding better ways to communicate your needs to others. Other times therapy may be about exploring recurring patterns, unconscious deep-rooted feelings and memories that can affect our behaviour and create change.
I am an integrative therapist registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am warm and passionate and I value working collaboratively and respectfully with each one of my clients. All of you, and every aspect of your life is welcome in our work together.
In addition to my private practice, I have spent the last years working in NHS primary care clinics and specialist charities where I offered therapy sessions to adults affected by depression, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem and confidence issues, relationship issues, bereavement, grief, and loss.
I welcome any questions or concerns, so please do get in touch. I always aim to respond to you within the same day.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy to individuals and couples. I have experience working with various psychotherapeutic approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I also offer one-off sessions if you believe you would benefit from a more practical, psycho-educational approach to your problem. However, please note that any long-term, meaningful change from therapy requires commitment, as it is not a quick fix.
