About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced BACP Accredited practitioner and UKRC registered independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist.I have 35 years experience in allied health care professions as a General and RMN nurse within the NHS, prior to embarking upon extensive counsellor training, this has enabled me to practice as a senior counsellor in the following areas; Medical and Psychological Health Care units, Primary Care/GP settings, Hospice and School/Educational settings.This experience influences and underpins all of my ethical use of Counselling/Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy. I manage a private practice in Pontefract West Yorkshire, working with adults and young people. I have contracts with individuals who self refer,local businesses, schools/collages,applying age appropriate,creative ways of working and problem solving with adults,young people and families. My vision is to work towards the benefit of individuals within the community, whom seek to re-claim and be inspired to find their own potential.

Practice description

Castle Counselling is centrally located in Pontefract West Yorkshire,which is easily accessible to local amenities and transport.

The practice has a comfortable and private ground floor consulting room with an adjacent waiting area. The location has private parking .
