About me and my therapy practice
I'm Lisa, and I believe that you are the expert on you. My aim is to help you to believe and trust in this.
I work with adults (18+) who are facing issues such as anxiety and panic, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, and low self-esteem.
My role in our work together is to create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore what's going on for you. I'll draw on my professional skills and on the trust and connection we build to help you on your journey.
You hold the map. I'll accompany you and help you make sense of it.

Sometimes life can feel like a struggle, or it may feel like you have lost direction. This can be because of things that have happened to you or around you, or it could be that things don't feel right within you. Counselling can give you the space to explore what's going on for you.
You don't need to feel like you're in crisis to have counselling. It's a way to take care of yourself on the inside.
When we work together you'll have a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space to explore where you're at and what's going on for you. This will help you gain a better understanding of yourself, and find a clearer path forward in your life.
I offer walk and talk sessions, as I've found that walking in nature can help people to relax and find clarity about what's happening for them. You can find out more about this on my website www.openspacecounselling.com
