About me and my therapy practice
I have been a psychotherapist and counsellor since 2008 working in the NHS and in private practice. I offer a caring and flexible approach to your individual needs. I am trained in a variety of counselling approaches which enables me to help you find your own solutions and guide you through difficult times.
I believe that my warm and down to earth nature will offer a space to find solutions to challenges and help you have the opportunity for a satisfying and fulfilling life.
We all sometimes feel a bit broken and need help in looking at unhelpful coping strategies. My main are of expertise is working with depression and anxiety, listening to your story and work with you to understand how we can effect change.
Accessing counselling and finding the right therapist can seem like a daunting process and I understand that it is normal to feel anxious about starting the process. We can have a free telephone conversation or email exchange prior to us meeting to answer any questions you may have.
I aim to answer your query within a few hours and can normally arrange a meeting within the week. Evening appointments are available Tuesday to Thursday.
