About me and my therapy practice

I work with adults and young people and can additionally offer family sessions and mediation.

I can accept referrals from health care professionals and individuals. Emphasis of the work being client focussed and to promote progression.

I am an Integrative Counsellor with ten years of experience. I aim to offer my clients a chance to explore their thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental, safe and supportive environment. My integrative approach allows me to draw from a range of theoretical models; this means I can apply appropriate techniques where necessary.

My practice is informed by the Humanistic Perspective, Person Centred Approach and Attachment & Developmental Theories. I use Psychodynamic, Existential and Gestalt skills in my work.

With the option of using materials your counselling experience need not be limited to talking therapies.

My many thousands of hours of client contact have addressed depression, low mood, mental and emotional disorders, loss, grief and bereavement, illness, relationships, gender identity and sexuality, family issues, parenting, neglect, OCD, disordered eating, self-harming, bullying, social issues, low self-esteem, debt and substance misuse.

My experience, understanding and empathy are broad ranging. I can be approached on all presenting issues; we can discuss an onward referral if I am unable to help.

My website offers additional information, contact & referral details.
