About me and my therapy practice
You may be finding life a struggle and hard going at the moment and you might be thinking about therapy as a way to explore yourself and the possibility of making changes in your life.
You may be experiencing a crisis, relationship difficulties, troubling feelings and thoughts, anxiety, work related stress and problems, depression, or historical experiences including abuse.
I believe that each of us deserves to live freely and everything we need to bring about personal change lies within us.
When we talk at depth with a trusted other about what really matters to us we find ourselves growing in awareness and insight. It is through such awareness that you are able to make choices about things you may wish to change or understand more fully and also to come to terms with the things you can't.
Exploring difficulties with a therapist and gaining clarity around feelings and thoughts deepens self understanding.
I offer a safe and supportive space for you. I believe effective therapy is grounded in warmth, compassion, creativity, understanding and acceptance.
