About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I understand that we are all different; each of us is a unique human being. I also know how hard it can be to take that first step and contact someone when you feel you need help. That's why I really want you to find the right counsellor for you. Please take a look at my website, and if there is anything else you'd like to know, get in touch. I hope to hear from you, but whoever you decide to work with, I wish you well.
About me
I am an integrative counsellor. What that means is:
- I start with you as an individual; a whole person, not a set of problems or symptoms
- I aim to get alongside you to really understand what it is you are struggling with
- I work with you to identify the best way we can work together to bring about change
- I offer a non-judgemental and safe space to explore your world.
I have experience of working with a wide range of challenges including abuse and abusive relationships, addictions, anxiety, self confidence, low self esteem, relationship issues, family issues, trauma and depression.
I aim to offer a neurodiversity friendly service (and am listed on the NAS Autism Services Directory).
I can offer both short and longer term counselling. For those with mobility problems, I provide home visits.
Practice description
I work from consulting rooms in Hove, but I can also see clients in fully accessible rooms near Preston Park Station.
My first session
The first session costs £10 and is an opportunity for us to meet and see if I am the right therapist for you. I'll find out a bit about you, you can ask me any questions you may have and we'll talk through the practicalities. There is no obligation to continue after the initial meeting.
