About me and my therapy practice
Passionate about what I do, I aim to offer a warm and supportive space to explore thoughts and feelings. I am here to help to facilitate and foster growth, feeling able to have capacity for difficult feelings and healing. I am patient and empathetic, and invested being along side you in the therapeutic journey.
I offer long or short term counselling and psychotherapy.
Some of the subjects I can help with include-
-help understanding and managing long or short term anxiety and depression.
-understanding and managing conflicting feelings inside.
-working with shame.
-inner child work.
-understanding and healing from childhood trauma.
-PTSD.
-relationship issues.
-abandonment related issues.
-work or exam stress.
-identity issues. Loss of identity. Dealing with change.
-bereavement.
Whatever your individual situation may be, I aim to value you as an individual.
I have an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University and am registered with BACP. I also have a certificate in Counselling from the University of the West of England.
With a background as a Key Worker, supporting adults with mental health difficulties, and training at a low cost counselling service offering short and longer term counselling for NHS and low cost clients, I have helped people from many different backgrounds.
I have supported people from many walks of life, with different cultural and religious backgrounds and identities
After a few sessions clients nearly always tell me they have a better understanding their often overwhelming feelings and problems, and have found sessions have helped them find their own clarity, solutions and healing, as well as relief from their emotional pain.

My sessions are 50 minutes by phone or video call weekly or fortnightly. For shift workers I offer flexible hours, with no set time each week.
My first session
Before we start sessions we can have a quick chat (free of charge) and we can talk a little about what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to achieve and I’ll explain what you can expect from me.
