About me and my therapy practice
Being an integrative counsellor means that I work with more than one theoretical model and I can be flexible, drawing on the ideas and techniques that will be most helpful for each individual.
I have a humanistic perspective which resonates with my core personal beliefs and my deep concern for the well-being of self and others.
I listen carefully to my clients and think deeply about their needs. Through a process of reflection and enquiry we work together to develop insight and understanding, based on trust, honesty and acceptance.
This can help someone to work through their difficulties, leading to a greater sense of personal ease and to feeling more in control of life.
Counselling takes place in a safe, private space and always in accordance with the guidance on good practice as laid out in the BACP Ethical Framework.
