About me and my therapy practice

I am a intergrative BACP accredited therapist/supervisor.

I have worked within the NHS Mental Health Psychological Services for over 20 years. Both as a senior/specialist counsellor and clinical supervisor.

I have been in private practice for twenty two years which has allowed me to work in a less time limited way.

I have extensive experence working with sexual abuse and the issuse that may surround this . I also work with relationship difficulties , trauma ,anxiety, depression as well as many other issues.

Every client is unique, and I offer a safe and non judgemental and confidential space to explore any issues/thoughts feelings and behaviours that may be causing distress or anxiety in your life. You may not be experencing any difficulties but wish to explore and develop your self -awairenes and personal growth to achieve your fullest potential , please call for more information .

I work face to face , by skype or telephone which ever suits you better .

My first session

Sessions are relaxed and paced at the clients needs and awaireness . On the first session I will take a a background history and discusse with you your expectations you have for therapy.

I will discusse confidentiality with you , and welcome any questions that you may have .

About me and my therapy practice

I work in a intergrative person centered model, I feel that supervision is a place whrere respect honesty and knowledge can be given and shared . I beleve that the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is as important as the relationship between therapist and client .

I believe that in supervision you can celebrate the good work that has been acheved with clients as well reflecting on any ethical, risk, transferance and any "stuckness" with clienets that we can all feel at times .

Practice description

I expect supervisee to have membership/accreditation of there governing bodies , as well as indemnity insurence if needed .

My first session

I reqire contact details of agency/ university/ workplace .

We discuss payment options and frequency of supervision as well as your modality of therapy and what you expect from therapy.
