Availability
I have spaces available and currently work remotely via Zoom, Skype or telephone, whichever is your preference.
I will be offering in-person therapy again in the future, including blended sessions if needed, and will look at this on an individual basis with clients.
About me and my therapy practice
Navigating life's challenges can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. I offer a supportive and confidential space for you to better understand the difficulties you are experiencing and how they impact you.
I know how challenging it can be to take the first steps into therapy. Providing a trusting and non-judgemental environment for my clients is of utmost importance. Every client is unique and their feelings incomparable. Together we can explore the core issues that are causing you distress and navigate a more positive way in which to move forward.
I have been a Samaritan for the last 6 years, talking to many people suffering deep emotional pain, and also work at a local hospice counselling clients who are pre and post bereaved.
I don't work to a set amount of sessions, but instead review our work together regularly.
Practice description
The Person Centred Theory is at the core of what I do. I listen to my clients so they feel heard and understood.
I have an empathic approach, offering reflections and different perspectives, which allows clients to look inward at their thoughts and feelings, and begin to make sense of their pain.
I strongly believe that everyone holds their own answers. The counselling process can help to access these answers so clients can find meaning in life once again.
My first session
I offer a free, 15 minute telephone consultation and assessment. This allows you to understand the process a little more and we can decide together if I meet your needs.
