Hourly sessions are available Monday to Friday between 4pm to 7pm.
Hourly sessions are available Saturday mornings between 9am and 1pm.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a person centred counsellor who works with both adults and children, I have specific trauma training, providing strategies to manage stress, anxiety and the impact that this has on our bodies. I also specialise in grief and loss, supporting people through the most difficult of times.
I have twenty years experience working directly with children supporting their social and emotional needs in a warm, nurturing environment, tailoring my approach to meet their needs.
I offer a supportive environment and aim to understand and support you in working through any issues you face, exploring ways forward and strategies to promote positive change.
Sessions can be either face to face, walk and talk, or online.
My approach encourages self exploration to gain an understanding of the issues that are having a negative impact on your life. Through exploring them together I hope to help you to develop strategies to support you in moving forward in a positive way.
When working with children I provide a calm, consistent approach, developing their social and emotional literacy in a fun and imaginative way through play and tapping into their interests.

My first session
The first session will give us a chance to get to know one another, answer any questions you may have along with working together to begin to understand what has brought you to counselling.
Following this we can identify what you expect from the sessions and the desired outcomes. I will be honest and open, discussing progress and the benefits gained from the sessions regularly.
