About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling to get through each day? Feeling anxious and scared in these uncertain times? Has the lockdown exacerbated difficulties in your relationships?  No-one goes through life unscathed, let alone a pandemic. It’s normal to feel distressed, overwhelmed or stuck. I have plenty of life experience as well as professional training so you can trust me to talk about anything that’s troubling you. I’ll meet you with warmth and kindness because I know that when you are heard, understood and accepted for who you are you can make changes that are right for you. 

Practice description

My counselling approach involves me stepping into your world so together we can explore and understand your unique perspective - your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and actions. With greater self-awareness and acceptance of you and your needs, you will feel better able to make changes to live your life fully and authentically. I’m here to help whether you’re struggling with anxiety or depression, a painful life event such as bereavement or divorce or a traumatic experience such as physical, sexual or emotion abuse. I also help clients address difficulties in their personal or work relationships through individual and couple counselling.

Taking the first steps towards change can be difficult. At this low point in your life, you may be wondering if counselling is right for you - or if I'm the right counsellor.
