About me and my therapy practice
We all feel stuck sometimes; either in life generally or in our relationships. We increasingly hear of people struggling with low self esteem, low mood and motivation, anxiety and depression diagnoses are becoming more common. We hear of relationships falling apart for a myriad of reasons; money, trust issues, infidelity, loss of connection to name a few. The key factor that causes relationships to break down is the failure to communicate effectively and re-connect before the problems arise.
My approach to counselling enables greater insight and raises self-awareness to help improve your sense of self and wellbeing. My couples' counselling helps to encourage an ability to reach out during times of distress and hurt.
My work with individuals going through relationship breakdown or distress allows for greater understanding of emotional needs and the ability to express those needs in a way that are understood.
If you are presenting low mood, stress, anxiety, depression and feelings of low self worth or self esteem. If you are feeling disconnected in your marriage and want to emotionally re-engage with one another then my therapy can encourage long term changes in behavioural patterns to create a deeper sense of connection and overall wellbeing.
