About me and my therapy practice

I am a Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist providing counselling and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children in East Sussex & London.

I specialise in chronic illness and disability, relationship and sex issues, life transitions, young people and creative therapy.

COVID-19 UPDATE ** I am able to offer sessions to clients via the telephone, Skype, Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp Video** Clients can then resume with face-face sessions once the lockdown is lifted.

Taking the step to seek professional support can be a scary experience, with increased feelings of anxiety, delving into the unknown and trying to put your trust in an 'other'. I aim to create a safe space where you feel able to express yourself and be heard, where you can work through whatever has brought you to consider therapy and feel empowered to make changes and reconnect to you.

I use a variety of modalities tailored to each individual client and am particularly attuned to psychodynamic theories, unconscious forms of communication and working creatively with art, sand tray, visualisations, dreams, meditation, voice, breath, and body work.

It is often difficult to talk about the challenges you are going through, especially for children and young people. Creative work can facilitate this challenge and open up a different perspective for expressing trauma and pain.

As a transpersonal integrative psychotherapist, I believe the relationship between client and therapist is the foundation of the explorative journey. The transpersonal approach connects spirit, body, and mind. It looks not only at the pre-personal that affects your personal day-to-day existence, but also at the transpersonal and your connection with your soul.

My first session

I offer a free initial 30 minute telephone consultation after which if you choose to go ahead the first session will be scheduled.

During the first session I will ask you a variety of questions to get a   broad overview of you, your world and what is bringing you to therapy. This gives us both an opportunity to get to know each other and decide if we want to work together.

There is no obligation to continue with sessions after the first appointment.

If you do decide to continue, we can then discuss whether you would like time limited or open ended sessions and what day and time we would meet regularly.
