Who am I and how do I work?
My focus in therapy is to hold a space where you feel safe to explore what has brought you to therapy, with compassion, acceptance and kindness.
I work from an integrated humanistic person centered approach. You may be wondering, what does that mean. For me it means that we are two human beings walking a path together to assist you in finding the answers you may be looking for. I believe in following your journey and adapting my work to your needs and goals for therapy. In a way that respects your innate wisdom in interpreting your current life challenges.
One of my passions in life is trying to understand why am I here, and why do I do what I do.
This has led me on a journey of self discovery and exploration. I have had various life experiences and gathered knowledge and skills throughout my personal and working life. I have a deep passion for the work I do, in walking besides you to hold the space where you can find your own answers to the questions you might have or life challenges you may need to resolve.
I work on a one to one basis, with the option for short term or long term therapy, depending on my clients needs and goals.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, I am can work online via Skype or Zoom.
I am working from my home practice on a one to one approach, within government guidelines.
I do offer online sessions, via Skype or Zoom, depending on the needs of my clients.
The session duration is 50 minutes.
My first session
The first session would be a 30 minute complimentary assessment.
This session would either be done in person or telephonically, to see if we are happy to work together.
