About me and my therapy practice

Hello, how are you today? Are you feeling ‘down’ or is your relationship causing you concern, not sure what’s wrong? Need someone to talk to, then why not give me a call and see if counselling is what you need. You may only need 1 or 2 sessions to talk through what is bothering you and that is OK but if you need more that's also OK so call or email me today for an initial appointment, at a reduced rate of £10, and find out if what I have to offer is what you need.

Many areas where counselling can be of help is if you feel sad, lonely or depressed, having relationship issues, feelings of confusion, experiencing anger, low self-esteem, lack of confidence or feeling stressed. Is bereavement causing you concern, or just struggling to cope with every-day life? Do you struggle with GAD? Then maybe now is the time to try some counselling.

I have worked as an Integative Counsellor, using a Person Centred and CBT approach to help clients on a one-to-one basis for 20 years providing counselling for adults, from 18-80, in the High Wycombe and surrounding area, both in private practice and as a volunteer for Buckinghamshire Mind.

I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and follow their ethical framework.

I won't:

- analyse you

- give you advice

- tell you what to do

- be judgemental.

I will:

- help you find your own solution

- help you live your life the way you want to

- be there to listen to whatever you want to talk about

- keep everything you say confidential.

My qualifications are :

Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming - 2015

BACP Accreditation - 2007

Diploma in Counselling - 2000

Certificate Counselling Skills - 1998

My first session

The first session is for me to obtain some personal details and background information (what it is that prompted you to contact me); for you to ask me questions and to find out if what I have to offer is what you are looking for.

If you decide to continue with counselling we can arrange a Skype, Zoom or face to face session at a mutually convenient time/day.
