About me and my therapy practice

Counselling can be helpful to us at many points in our lives. This could be at a time of personal crisis, such as a major life change or when we have a more general sense that something isn't right in our lives which we feel a need to explore and understand more about. I am very committed to working with clients to help them to become more accepting of themselves and also to feel more able to make the positive changes that they may seek. Central to my way of working is an emphasis on developing a real and empathic relationship with my clients. I draw on a range of approaches and theories but my relationship with clients is always to the fore. It is my belief that if we can build a trusting and authentic relationship then we can work together to explore whatever difficulties are being faced.
