About me and my therapy practice
I help people who are suffering from trauma, anxiety, emotional abuse, low confidence and self-esteem and generally do not feel good enough about themselves.
You may be doubting your feelings and are not sure what your needs are; you may feel like you are not as important as others; you may feel selfish saying ‘no’ so you say ‘yes’ to requests even if it inconveniences or even hurts you. Your life may not feel like your own, because it revolves around others.
You may feel exhausted, overwhelmed and like you cannot get anything right. You may even feel stuck and not know what to do or how to help yourself. You may experience anxiety on a daily basis.
If it resonates, I would love to work with you, to explore who YOU are and what kind of life YOU would like to live. I will walk alongside you on your journey to yourself, supporting you gently so that you can heal and establish your own way of navigating relationships with those important to you. I understand that it could be difficult to commit to therapy or find a therapist that is right for you. That is why I offer FREE 30 minute online session where we can meet so that you can see if we are a good fit.
I help clients to establish healthy boundaries and find their way to relating to the world in a more efficient way, as well as make sense of their past experiences and how they manifest in their present life. We then work together on transforming their pain into personal power by taking one small step at a time in the right direction.
My first session
My initial consultation involves you telling me more about yourself: what brings you to therapy, what you are struggling with, what your aims and goals are. We would also talk about significant experiences/memories that you feel are affecting your life.
I will tell you about how I work and make some notes.
You will have an opportunity to ask me any questions.
You will then have time to decide whether we are a match and if you would like to carry on working together. You don`t have to commit to working with me on the spot.
