About me and my therapy practice

You might be looking for therapy because you’re feeling stuck, repeating old patterns of behavior, perhaps you’re struggling to sustain meaningful relationships with others, or maybe you’re feeling unfulfilled with life?

Whatever the catalyst has been, talking with a therapist can really help to unravel the issues and help you move forward.

I work in a way which takes into consideration how your early life and experiences may be influencing you presently. I work alongside my clients in thinking about what may be feeling difficult and how we might be able to use therapy to address some of these things.

My way of working is underpinned by Developmental, Relational, and Trauma-Informed approaches. Therapy can be all sorts of things, but fundamentally it’s a space to explore all the various aspects of yourself. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space in which we can work collaboratively in order to explore and help resolve the difficulties you may be facing. What’s most important is that together we can connect and create a space where we’re able to consider the aspects of life that feel tricky or painful.

I gained my Diploma qualification in Integrative Counselling from the Minster Centre, in London and I am currently completing a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, undertaking further research into the therapeutic relationship.

As well as working in private practice, I work for an NHS-based counselling service in West London.

Practice description

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), as well as a member of The Relational School. I adhere to the BACP ethical framework.

I work both online and in person in central London.

Location: City Therapy Rooms, 33 Furnival Street, London EC4A 1JQ. Easily accessible via Chancery Lane, Farringdon and Holborn stations.

Sessions are charged at £70 for 50 minutes. I also hold some lower cost places available for those on lower income, students and NHS workers.

My first session

The first step is to have an initial session, which can be arranged by sending an email or a call. This initial session will be a chance to ask any questions you may have about therapy, and to explore some of the reasons that you’re seeking therapy.
