About me and my therapy practice
I work in public and private organisations offering safe, effective and compassionate help tailored to suit each client. I have been working as a qualified therapist for over 20 years now, firstly in the NHS and as a Cruse bereavement counsellor, and for the last 15 years in private practice.
We all struggle at times with life, sometimes this struggle becomes overwhelming and we decide to reach out and seek help. I offer a down-to-earth approach to therapy, with the aim of helping you to find your potential and live in ways that are more fulfilling. I don't tell you what to do but strive to work collaboratively with you, to find the best ways of moving forward, for you.
Practice description
As a result of the pandemic, my practice has currently moved to online sessions. The medium I use is easy to access, simple to use, private and confidential.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what it is you would like to gain from coming to see me. The main aim of this first session is to help you feel comfortable working with me: this is crucial as the relationship we co-create will form the foundation upon which build as we work together towards a successful outcome.
It is a chance for me to answer any questions you may have about me, or therapy, and for me to provide some information about the way I work.
