About me and my therapy practice

If you find yourself becoming increasingly anxious, depressed, worried, or experiencing mood swings by a current situation, counselling can help you.

You may sense that something is wrong, but cannot quite put a finger on it; feeling unable to share these feelings with family or friends, counselling can offer you a different place to talk about your problems.

As a fully qualified and experienced counsellor, specialising in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression and relationship issues; I will support you throughout your counselling, providing a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, as we explore the difficulties that you are facing, so that you can start to understand and make more sense of them.

I have particular experience and interest in working with issues around:




Poor Self-esteem


Dealing with Narcissistic parents

Bereavement and loss

Personal identity

Work related issues

By gaining a better understanding and awareness of yourself, you can start to recognise often repeated and unwanted thoughts and behaviours. This can then help you to identify new and different choices, enabling you to make the changes necessary to lead a healthier, more confident and fulfilling way of life

I passionately believe in the process and lasting benefits of counselling, and I do my best to demonstrate that enthusiasm and passion in my work with clients

My approach to counselling is flexible, sensitive, and respectful, adapting to your personal needs.

If you would like the opportunity of discussing specific issues that are affecting you, before committing to regular counselling, please feel free to call or e-mail me to arrange an initial consultation session. 

Regular sessions are normally arranged on a weekly basis, last for 60 minutes, at a suitable time that is agreed between us.

I offer both face to face counselling sessions, or, if more convenient, via Zoom.
