About me and my therapy practice
About me and my therapy practice
Hi my name is Claire. I am a fully qualified member of the BACP with extensive experience. I provide therapy on a one to one basis and clinical supervision both on a one to one basis and in groups.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, groups and young people. I offer short and long-term counselling.
I believe that every individual has the potential for growth. As a Person Centred Integrative Counsellor I work collaboratively with you to assist in identifying the areas of your life you wish to explore, improve or change.
I will provide a supportive relationship creating a safe space for exploring feelings, thoughts and experiences. I believe the therapeutic process can help you to form greater insight and understanding, along with greater self-awareness and emotional growth. I endeavour to build a relationship where you feel accepted for who you are.
Within my private practice I offer supervision and provide short and long term counselling and work with local and national Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP).
I also work part-time as a Counselling Tutor teaching on a BA Counselling Degree at a local University and as a part time supervisor for a local Rape Crisis service. Prior to this, I worked within the NHS as a Clinical Lead in an IAPT service for a number of years.
