About me and my therapy practice
I believe that everyone experiences difficulties and challenges at some point in time. These events and your state of mind can affect the way you enjoy your life, and have a significant impact on you and on the people around you.
It may be that you are finding it difficult to resolve these issues on your own and it is at this point that counselling can help.
I am a qualified and experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor working with adults and young people from my small private practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
I practice a non –judgemental, respectful and empathetic approach as I believe this creates a safe environment in which we can work together to explore and examine any difficult feelings and problematic issues that may be causing you distress.
It can be a great relief to share your worries and fears in confidence without feeling judged or worried that you are burdening someone with your problems. The new insight which you gain through counselling can help you to let go of patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour that may have sustained you in the past, but now cause you difficulties.
Please feel free to contact me for a noncommittal chat to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about the counselling process.
