About me and my therapy practice

I have been working as a Counsellor / Psychotherapist since 2006 and I achieved accredited status in 2009. I am now looking for supervisee’s as studying for my Level 6 certificate so low cost supervision now available for NCS or BACP reg counsellors.

I am currently working as an independent therapist in Brighton , I have recently had 4 years experience working for Croydon Council as a School Counsellor , various youth agencies over the years and also in the City for a large Corporate Financial Establishment as a Staff Wellbeing Psychotherapist.

I have extensive experience working with young people from the age of 11 years old and with Adults within my private practice and my Corporate job , for the Various EAPs and medical insurance companies.

I am fully qualified, being trained in the Person Centered and Humanistic Models of Counselling, this means that I work with the Client using the 3 main Core conditions of Empathy, Congruence, and Unconditional Positive Regard. This enables me to support my clients to affect change within their lives and to empower them to reach their fullest potentials.

Working in a truly client centered way means that I have the belief that my clients have the fullest capacity to heal themselves given the right support and environment, and that the path of support is very fluid and evolves with each individual.

I am also a practitioner of REWIND therapy and EMDR.

I follow the BACP – British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists ethical framework for Counselling Professions. Additionally, I am a Registered and Accredited member of the BACP (registration number 020459).

I am also Senior accredited with the National Counselling Society NCS17-04684

I have a current enhanced DBS to work with young people and vulnerable adults.
