About me and my therapy practice
As both a woman of mixed race and an American in the UK, I understand how a sense of ‘otherness’ can influence our life experiences. I also seek to acknowledge the importance of intersectionality, diversity, and identity both inside the therapy room and beyond.
For anyone who would like to address experiences in a highly targeted way, I offer EMDR, a transformative psychotherapy that can help with a multitude of difficulties, ones that are trauma-related and otherwise. EMDR is recognised by both NICE and the WHO as a highly effective treatment and it draws on our natural healing processes to help us feel better.
For others who desire open-ended talk therapy, it might be helpful to know that my approach to therapy is integrative. This means that I draw from various modalities and theories, all of which build on my foundation training in Humanistic Therapy.
In addition to my Masters and Education Specialist degrees in Counselling, I have a Masters in Literature, all of which I earned in the United States. I completed my Diploma in Integrative Supervision here in the UK, my EMDR training with EMDR Europe and I also work as a clinical supervisor both privately and with organisations.

About me and my therapy practice
As both a woman of mixed race and an American in the UK, I understand how a sense of ‘otherness’ can influence our work and the importance of intersectionality, diversity, and identity both inside the therapy room and beyond.
My approach to clinical supervision is integrative, which means that I draw from various modalities and theories when supervising. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space in which you can talk openly about your caseload and matters to do with your professional identity and your personal goals for your work. In this space, I will support you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself as a practitioner and of your relationships with your clients.
In addition to my Masters and Education Specialist degrees in Counselling, I have a Masters in Literature, all of which I earned in the United States. I completed my Diploma in Integrative Supervision here in the UK.
