About me and my therapy practice

There may be times as you journey through life, that you are faced with overwhelming challenges, which lead you to consider counselling. Perhaps you have found yourself feeling lost, stuck or at a crossroads in life, unsure how to move forward. You may have experienced an unexpected event which has thrown you off course or want to understand how your past experiences have impacted you. Or maybe you are concerned about difficulties in relationships, dealing with transitions in life or managing your emotions.

I am a fully qualified, integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP.

I hold masters degrees in therapeutic counselling (BACP accredited) and forensic psychology (BPS accredited) and I have professional qualifications in domestic and sexual abuse.

Alongside my private practice, I also work for a national addiction service.

Practice description

I provide a welcoming, safe and confidential space, to allow you to make sense of your experiences, increase your self-awareness and empower you to take control of your future. My training allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to find a way of working together which suits your individual needs.

I am currently offering online and telephone counselling and my standard rate is £50 for 50-minute appointments.

I offer short-term and open-ended weekly counselling, depending on your requirements.

You can contact me on 07735 840543 or email findtruenorthcounselling@gmail.com.

My first session

I understand that starting counselling can be a daunting experience, so please get in touch if you have any questions.

If required, I can offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation prior to booking your initial appointment, with no obligation to continue.

After initial telephone or email contact, we can arrange an initial telephone or Zoom appointment to fully explore what has brought you to counselling  and to ensure that you feel comfortable working together.
