About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life isn't straightforward, throwing challenging issues at us. We can feel overwhelmed and unable to cope alone. A safe space to talk in privacy and confidence with a “neutral” person who is prepared to really listen and help find different ways of looking at the problem can be invaluable.
I use a psychodynamic approach to therapy. This works with the understanding that what you think, how you feel and behave today are as a result of formative experiences. Looking at these early experiences together can help bring unconscious patterns of behaviour and relating to a conscious level. A new awareness can bring about change in how you understand and feel about yourself and how you relate to others, enabling you to tackle negative patterns and take better control, to make better choices for yourself.
I understand that reaching out for help takes courage and may seem daunting, my aim is to help you work through whatever is troubling you and bring about positive change opening the door to a happier, more fulfilling life.
Sessions take place at avanti therapy located in the Chichester Enterprise Centre, West Sussex. The room is newly appointed with ample free parking for clients.
