About me and my therapy practice

Each person is unique and may have differing reasons for being drawn to counselling. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of unhappiness, anger, confusion, depression, guilt, shame, trauma or anxiety?

If so, please get in touch, I offer a free 30 minute no obligation first session to see if we are the right ‘fit’. I also offer some sliding scale sessions at a lower rate.

Do you ever wonder how it would feel to be accepted by another person for who you are? How would you feel not having to hide parts of yourself, or your experience? How would it feel to tell someone what you are really feeling, to experience being truly heard? I can offer this to you within our therapeutic relationship. I am ‘non-directive’ in my approach, which means that you as my client lead on our sessions. I won’t tell you what to do, or offer advice, as I believe that you hold the answers within yourself. I will be by your side aiming to offer you the best environment to support you in your process.

I offer therapeutic relationships to all potential clients from differing walks of life, cultures and communities, including person's seeking asylum. Additionally, I hold three specialist areas: Domestic abuse, Physical Disabilities, Contact Impairments & Brain Injury and LGBTQAI* / Queer.

I also am trained in offering ‘Pre-Therapy’, offering therapeutic contact to:

Clients with dementia

Clients who do not use words to communicate or are non-verbal

Clients who may experience psychosis

Clients on the autistic spectrum

Clients with brain injuries

I will offer you empathy, unconditional acceptance, warmth, and a genuine non-judgmental relationship. You will be met by myself in a confidential, comfortable room with armchairs that are available for us to both sit on. There is accessible entry into the building at ground level, with access to a ramp. For more details and information please do get in touch:
