About me and my therapy practice
I offer a safe, non judgmental space for us to explore your thoughts and feelings together.
I will be open to hearing about your experiences, your relationships and how you view yourself and the world around you. This will be at your pace and you can share as much or as little as you wish. I will help you to make sense of your feelings and thoughts and together we can consider new perspectives to help you find a way forward.
I also offer outdoor walking therapy. Your first consultation will be in my practice and then I will meet you at an arranged place which we have checked you are comfortable with, and we will meet there the same time every week for a 50 minute walk. It is easier sometimes to think when we are walking and have nature around us. It will be in a mixture of open space and woodland. It is easy to park.
My first session
We will meet for an initial 50 minute session, so you can meet me and talk about what you'd like to gain from coming to therapy and decide whether you feel comfortable talking to me. Towards the end of the session, we can decide if we want to work together or you can have some time to think about it and let me know. If we decide to continue to work together, our sessions will take place on the same day, at the same time each week.
