About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I am Rebecca and I offer counselling and therapy for anyone experiencing feelings of low self-esteem, lack of motivation, depression, anxiety and alcohol and substance dependency. I also offer support with relationship concerns associated with any of these factors, with the overall aim of improving mental health. I aim to promote healthier ways of being and alleviate negative patterns of thinking.

I have over 20 years of experience, providing bespoke support for individuals, couples, and family members seeking help to understand the concerns surrounding depression, anxiety, poor mental health, addiction and/or dependency. I am BACP registered and hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Addiction Psychology and Counselling as well as being an accredited member of Addiction Professionals as an Advanced Practitioner. 


Practice description

I have flexible working hours which includes private practice in both North Oxford and  Fitzrovia, London. I also offer online and telephone sessions for those not wishing to travel.

My integrated approach includes:

12 Step facilitation

Relapse Prevention

Couples and family mediation

All my work is trauma-informed, meaning I follow the guiding principles of Safety, Choice, Collaboration, Trustworthiness and Empowerment.

My first session

Each session is, on average, 50 - 60 minutes. I offer a complimentary 20-minute orientation session to allow you time to explain why you are seeking support. The session ensures that I can meet your needs and that you feel comfortable with the process.
