About me and my therapy practicePeople come to counselling for many different reasons. Perhaps you are facing challenging times, stressful life events or struggling with things you normally cope with well. You may just want to share thoughts and feelings with someone who doesn’t know you and isn’t involved with your life. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to explore and understand whatever you need to, in a relaxed environment, at your pace and to your own agenda. My aim is to help you to make sense of your feelings and reactions to experiences in your life. That may mean us working together to make new connections, sometimes untangling things that have become blurred and confused for you. It may involve relationships and events in your past and present. My counselling approach is integrative which means that I draw on different ways of working with you to help you with your particular needs, always with developing a solid and trusting relationship in mind. My first session
Coronavirus / COVID-19:
In line with Government guidelines I am only working with clients remotely where possible or preferable via Zoom, FaceTime, Skype or over the telephone. It will be necessary for clients to ensure that they have a safe and confidential space for the session.
I am happy to have an initial 15-minute call (free of charge) via your preferred option to see if it suitable for you before arranging sessions.
