About me and my therapy practice
Counselling or talking therapy can help you when you are struggling with life and the world that you live in. There are many reasons that you may feel that you need to talk to someone. You may need support with trying to cope with stress, anxiety, childhood issues, family issues, relationship issues, bereavement; the loss of someone close to you, the loss of a relationship or even your job, depression, abuse etc. The needs and reasons can be many and varied. Talking about your worries and difficulties with someone qualified to guide and support you can be incredibly healing and empowering.
As a Humanistic therapist I work with the whole person, their experiences, thoughts and feelings. I belief that by offering the right conditions of a safe, trusting, caring, respectful and honest relationship I help to create the conditions for change and growth. I am passionate about the positive effects that counselling can achieve. I believe that as human beings we are all seeking meaningful connections and need to feel valued. In order to achieve this we need to know ourselves, be self-aware and understand what our needs are. By talking to me I can help you to understand your feelings and thoughts so that you can make sense of yourself and your world and find a new way of being.
