About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited Integrative Counsellor, qualified in the delivery of CBT, Psychodynamic therapy and Transactional Analysis and I am currently undertaking the study of Internal Family Systems as an additional skill set.

Practice description

I offer a pragmatic, validating approach to counselling which fosters respect and honour for you, the client, to enable you to understand and move beyond the difficulties you are facing at this juncture.

Working as an Integrative therapist, which means drawing on different approaches, I aim to achieve the best outcome for you by being alongside you in the therapeutic relationship as you explore connections between your cognitions, behaviours, physical and emotional health and bring understanding to how entwined our cognitions are with physical wellbeing.

My first session

What you can expect from the first session is a calm environment to talk through how therapy can help and explore what you feel is a best outcome for you from your engagement in the therapeutic alliance. We will explore some context to your presenting issue and identify support networks and strengths you can draw on.
