About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Humanistic counsellor working in the community and in private practice with adults and older teenagers from all backgrounds. In my private practice I work with people who are experiencing:
· Anxiety/Stress
· Depression
· Feelings of loss or grief
· Anger
- Loneliness
whether these are related to working life, trauma, family situation, relationships, low self-esteem or other life problems.
I also work with people who wish to address issues around their relationship with alcohol, food, internet or social media.
The core of the Humanistic approach is the belief that everyone has a natural tendency towards change and growth, though this may become stunted through difficult life experiences and patterns of relating. I offer a compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your difficulties and create more choice in how you live and relate to others.
I offer both short and long-term therapy.
Getting started:
It’s very important that you find a counsellor that you are comfortable to work with. The first step will be to have an initial assessment so I can understand your reasons for seeking counselling, explain what I offer and we can see how we work together.
If we decide to work together we will then arrange a regular appointment.
If you would like to book an initial session, please e-mail or call me and I will respond within 24 hours.
Qualifications:
· BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling
· Diploma in Humanistic Counselling
· Certificate in Brief Therapy

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I am a Humanistic counsellor working in South London, London Bridge and the City. I work with individual adults who are experiencing emotional difficulties in their lives.
You may be experiencing anxiety, depression or overwhelm in relation to work or social situations. You may be having difficulty with relationships, family dynamics, addictive/compulsive behaviours, isolation, grief or loss. Perhaps you see the same painful patterns repeating in your life and struggle to change them.
Whether you want to work through a specific issue or explore your wider patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, counselling can help.
As a Humanistic counsellor, I believe in the capacity of each of us to learn, to come to accept ourselves and to grow through greater self-awareness. In turn, this brings greater peace of mind and more choice in how we live our lives and relate to others. I work with the whole person in their unique circumstances, offering both short-term and longer-term therapy.
Working with me:
We will meet for a weekly 50-minute session in my counselling rooms in Crystal Palace, London Bridge or City of London.
For clients who need to travel frequently for work, I also offer sessions via telephone or video call.
My fees are from £50 upwards depending on location.
To start, we will meet for an initial assessment to confirm that I am the right person for you to work with, the charge for this session will be £35.
I offer a limited number of sessions at a concessionary rate to trainee counsellors. These will generally be during the day between 9 and 5.
