About me and my therapy practice

Hello, thank you for visiting my profile.

I am a Person Centred Therapist based in Bramcote, Nottingham.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), also an Accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS)

I am currently unable to work with bereavement.

If you are feeling depressed or anxious, feel like you have lost touch with yourself through life's ups and downs, feel like something is wrong or maybe want to make changes in your life and need support to do so.

These issues and many others, can throw us off course and we can lose ourselves and need support through difficult times. Or maybe, you might feel like you just need someone to talk to about what's going on for you.

Counselling is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and explore what matters most to you to help you to understand yourself better.

Asking for help for the first time can feel like a daunting experience, one that I can help you with by offering you an accepting, understanding, genuine relationship, with a space that is yours. Being fully listened to without judgement can be a rare experience, one that counselling can offer you.

Counselling is your space for you to share what is important for you in your time and at your own pace.

Practice description

My opening hours are: Monday to Thursday 11am to 9pm (last session 8pm) Friday enquiries only Saturday Closed Sunday Closed

My first session

The first session is to gain an understanding of what you would like to bring to counselling and your expectations from counselling. In order to work effectively, you will appreciate that some ethical boundaries need to be agreed and observed. This is in the form of a Counselling Agreement. Therefore, I offer an initial first 60 minute session at a reduced fee of £20, because it is important you feel comfortable with me as your counsellor. Thereafter £40 per 60 minutes sessions, and a reduced rate of £30 for students and NHS keyworkers. I work with adults (over 18) on a face-to-face basis, online or by telephone. Sessions work on a weekly basis, but this can be flexible depending on your needs.
