About me and my therapy practice
Many thanks for taking the time to visit my page. A bit about myself - I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor here in Coventry. I have been counselling clients for nearly 12 years.
I have worked in different professions and held roles in a number of areas - ranging from adult education, supervision, lecturing and psychotherapy. I have worked for organisations such as the Priory and the NHS. My roles in education include Senior Lecturer for Counselling at BAES, Course Leader for a Counselling degree and Course Director.
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist - which basically means I use a variety of techniques to help my clients deal with issues they may be experiencing. Integrative therapy interests me so much that I co-wrote a counselling degree course for a university.
The types of therapy I use are Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Solution-Focused, strengths-based and Person centred approaches. It's about creating the most effective therapeutic approach for you. I can also integrate coaching and hypnotherapy into my practice.
