About me and my therapy practice
During the current Covid-19 pandemic I am offering online or telephone sessions. I am also working face to face at The Bay Therapy Centre which is remaining open whilst Nottingham is in tier 3. The centre is maintaining a very safe and socially distanced service. Measures are in place such as; NHS track and trace app, one way systems, face coverings and a socially distanced waiting room is provided.
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and I work with adults, older adults and trainees. I provide a safe, confidential, non judgemental and a warming service.
I really believe that therapy is an incredibly beneficial self investment that gives you new perspectives and directions. I offer a warm, compassionate, open and safe place to explore your current issues and yourself. This gives you opportunities to open up to new goals and to be able to understand yourself. I do have my approaches I work with but I am also client led and very much believe that my work is tailored around you and what you bring to the therapeutic relationship.
I am also particularly interested in how the challenges or difficulties we may face as an adult may stem from childhood and our learned behaviour from significant role models. I have experience in working with trauma, childhood issues, depression, identity issues, lack of self confidence and esteem.
I do practice from a room at a centre and if you would prefer a room downstairs then please let me know. I can also provide location details if you need them. It has a very convenient bus stop right out side too, which is accessible from the city centre too.
My sessions are 50 minutes long and £40 for the session.

My first session
The first session can be a nerve wracking feeling. I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. In a warm, safe and confidential space.
The first meeting will be a session to get to know each other, talk about your goals for therapy and your difficulties or issues that have brought you to therapy. I will also explain a little bit about how I work and from there we can see if it is the right fit for you.
