About me and my therapy practice

In these unprecedented times with the coronavirus outbreak, there is much anxiety and an even greater need to find environments to process difficult feelings and experiences. I offer online therapy over Zoom or Skype, and also telephone based therapy.  Following government advice on social distancing and public travel I have paused my face to face work in central London.  Online therapy can be a useful tool for connection during these difficult times.  I am familiar and experienced with this platform for providing therapy.

I am a therapist in full time practice, with over five years post qualified experience working predominantly from central London, and also Dorking in Surrey.  I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship problems, work stress, and where confusing or difficult experiences have created blocks to working through challenges.

In terms of my professional qualifications, I hold a Master's Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.  I am also on the register of the British Psychoanalytic Council as a psychodynamic counsellor.  I continue with on-going professional development and maintain the ethical frameworks of the BACP and BPC.  I also hold degrees in Social Work and Theology.

My first session

I begin with an initial consultation where we jointly decide if therapy with me is the right for you.  As my work is currently online, I request that you would find a confidential and comfortable space for the session which is over Zoom, Skype or telephone.  I provide you with all the necessary details to log into the meeting ahead of time.
