About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced counsellor with a wide range of skills. I am person centred trained however am also qualified an as EMDR therapist. EMDR is eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing and is especially effective with trauma and PTSD.

I work with what clients bring into the room and believe the relationship is of paramount importance in order to help a client move on.

My experience has been in the voluntary sector, charities working with bereavement and people who self-harm, an IAPT service as well as my previous role as a staff counsellor within the NHS.

My first session

I offer either free telephone or Microsoft teams assessments for approximately 30 minutes in order to find out more about you and for you to ask me any questions.
