About me and my therapy practice
Our minds can be confusing places at times. Especially when it comes to issues of mental health. It may feel hard to talk about certain things with friends and loved ones for many reasons, and it can feel like there’s no way to escape these problems. I can offer you a safe, confidential space to help you make more sense of your situation, help you throw your problems into a new light and perhaps give you a new perspective on what’s going on for you.
During my two years of working in relapse prevention, I have supported clients going through a range of problems both surrounding and extending beyond their addiction, such as:
- Relationship issues.
However, at the end of the day these are labels that help people describe what they are going through. I work in a holistic way, which takes into account you as a whole person and not just a problem that needs to be treated.
If you feel like you would benefit from talking about the issues you face, feel free to reach out and we can have an informal chat to get a sense of your problems and see if we can work well together. I’ll go over some basic things to expect from counselling and give you a more detailed explanation about how I work. I hope to hear from you soon.
