About me and my therapy practice
I work in a warm, friendly and compassionate way with couples (I also work for Relate), anger management, drugs and alcohol, anxiety and trauma (including PTSD) and survivors of sexual abuse.
My Service
Couples Counselling: I am a fully trained couple's counsellor and also work for Relate in Crawley (working with up to seven couples a week). I offer a supportive space where we can talk non judgmentally about difficult things and break out of repetitive arguments.
Anger management: I work with people to help them manage their anger more effectively. We break anger down to alter the process and often even small tweaks can yield great results.
Alcohol and drugs: My experience of working at a drugs and alcohol service (C.R.I. in Brighton) has taught me that each person's goals are unique. For some people the change might mean giving up altogether, while for others it might mean cutting down just a few glasses of wine a week.
Sexual abuse: I work as a counsellor at Mankind UK, a charity for men who have experienced sexual abuse. We will always work sensitively and you will not feel under pressure to talk about anything you don't want to (in fact much beneficial work can be done without directly talking about the abuse).
