About me and my therapy practice

I qualified over 20 years ago and have a wide range of experience, with a background in general counselling and mental health settings. I offer acceptance and confidentiality within an empathic, supportive relationship to allow you to explore difficulties and concerns and work towards desired changes. My counselling approach is integrative with a strongly person centred attitude towards clients. I bring a number of therapeutic approaches together including cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic, as determined by your needs. I have particular experience of working with depression including postnatal depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, abuse and trauma. I am flexible about timing and frequency of sessions.
