About me and my therapy practice
Helping people through Challenges of Life, I am a qualified experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, acknowledge how difficult it can be to make that first move and decide to make that appointment. I work with individual adults and young people.
I offer a safe, respectful, caring, confidential space where you can express your feelings without judgement. Difficulties, worries and problems can be explored and begin to be understood, so change can begin to take place.
Maybe you are feeling depressed, alone, anxious? Perhaps struggling with low self-esteem or a relationship? It could be your coping with bereavement and are finding that the loss has brought up other difficulties within your life
I can offer the assistance you may need, by applying my knowledge in counselling - working with many diverse individuals who present a wide range of issues to resolve.
I work in private practice with adults and young people in individual therapy, both long and short term, I work week days and offer flexible daytime, afternoon and evening appointments. I have volunteered at Hinckley and District Community Counselling and Myton Hospice, I bring many years of personal and professional experience to my work.
As a member of the BACP, I am committed to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
I provide an initial reduced rate assessment where we can explore whether counselling is right for you and whether it feels like we can work together.
