At present due to the Coronovirus I am available monday to Thursday . My last appointment is 6.00 in the evening

My main method of working is to find out what it is you need from therapy. I will listen to your concerns and using my skills, will work with you to support you, using my training in Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT therapy and Mindfulness. At all times confidentiality is respected. 

The psychodynamic perspective looks how things that have happened in the past, in our childhoods, can impact on our present live. The Defence mechanisms we used can unconsciously manifest as behaviours when we are adults.

I can offer short term work which may be from 6-12 weeks and also long term or open ended work depending on what you decide when we speak together in the initial meeting. At all times I am willing to be flexible should there be a need.

 You can either sit in a chair or lie down. The choice will be yours. Confidentiality and abiding by the Ethics and Guidelines of BACP are adhered to at all times.

The practice is situated in a residential street in North London on the ground floor.There is no reception area but sessions are timed that confidentiality and anonymity is respected. There are facilities on the same floor.

Access is gained by going up a few steps and there is a grab rail for support. 

The Practice is situated 10-15 minutes walk from the East Finchley underground station and is also well served by buses  102 and 234. 

There is residents parking between 11. I can provide a permit which costs £1.00. Details can be given on request.

In this session I will need to take some personal details such as name address, telephone number, date of birth and GP details. I will outline my practice details and then we will be able to talk together about what is happening and why you are seeking counselling. We can think about the best way to work together in order to support you. You will also have the opportunity to ask me any questions. 

The time in all the counselling times is yours.

There is a charge of £80 for the initial session which lasts one and quarter hours. 

My working hours are Monday to Wednesday . 

My work as a supervisor is predominantly Psychodynamic. However I do have a number of further trainings in Mindfulness , bereavement counselling and somatic trauma therapy

The first session will be longer than subsequent session. 1 1/4 hours
