About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Senior Accredited counsellor, EMDR Accredited Practitioner and clinical supervisor with over 16 years experience.

I work with individuals presenting with a wide range of issues and have extensive experience in working with trauma, sexual abuse, addictions, bereavement and loss.

I work with a Person-Centred approach and believe that every individual has a natural potential for growth, change and self-determination.

I am trauma informed and have an interest in body psychotherapy and somatic psychology. My counselling practice is informed by the latest research on trauma and the body and I am committed to continuing professional and personal development.

I have over 24 years experience in bodywork as a qualified Shiatsu practitioner and I'm interested in the fundamental relationship and interconnection between mind and body.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and EMDR Association UK. I abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a supportive environment where a counsellor can regularly discuss and reflect on their work. The focus of supervision may include client's material, the counsellor's process, theory, ethical issues and self-care. My aim is to enable more awareness, confidence and ethical competence in order to offer clients the best service possible as well as assisting and supporting the development of the counsellor.

I offer supervision to counsellors and anyone in the helping professions.

I am an experienced and qualified supervisor with a Diploma in ‘Relationship-Based Supervision of Individuals & Groups’ by Ibis Consultancy and I am a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor of Groups.

I am currently a supervisor at One Therapy Brighton and I have in the past worked as a clinical supervisor at Survivor’s Network, Cruse Bereavement Care, GamCare and BHT Mental Health & Wellbeing Services.

I can offer weekly, fortnightly or monthly supervision, individual or group, face to face or online.
