I am not avaiable in July

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor working in Newcastle up on tyne, During this uncertain time of coronavirus it can be hard to tackle the day to day challenges, I am offering a confidential and nonjugemental safe space  to allow you to share the challenges you are facing.

I know it can be difficult opening up and sharing painful memories and overwhelming feelings with stangers, I can provide you private space where you can externalise the internal thoughts that you have been having and enable you to process them, this will happen at your own pace, as I understand it takes time to build trust and confidenceto open up. Together we will explore your feelings and I will stay alongside you in your journey of self discovery.

I believe that we all know what is best for us, and that we can make the changes we want in order to feel happier and more content, my role is to help you to make those changes and to become the person you want to be through the process.

I work in an intergative way which means that I aim to tailor the counselling to suit each client, using a variety of approaches such as CBT, Gestalt, psychodynamic and attachement approaches as well as some creative ways.

My background is specialising in work with Black and Asian families, I have 30 years of expereince in working within the Asain communites and understanding the cultural and religeous pressures on people,  I understand struggles within families, generational gaps, tradtions and coming to terms with the western cultures.

As a counsellor I will help you explore your feelings, I will listen without any judement, and hope to work with you without and try to bring about postive changes to your life.

I can offer 20 minutes free consulation for you ask any questions you have
