About me and my therapy practice
My name is Gurvinder and I am an experienced bilingual counsellor and I'm able to provide therapy in English and Punjabi. In the past 10 years I have practised in the NHS and various therapeutic community-based settings. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I offer short-term and long-term individual and group counselling and psychotherapy with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. I see individuals on a weekly basis. It's sometimes possible however to arrange a one off single session or more intense blocks of sessions can be arranged and can be very effective during crisis.
I work with individuals based on their presenting needs and therefore counselling sessions are tailored to you at your own pace. Trained as an integrative counsellor I combine approaches to psychotherapy based on my clients presenting concerns as I take the view that there is no single approach that can treat all in all situations. Each individual needs are considered and your counselling is tailored to your individual needs and personal circumstances.
