About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred psychotherapist providing a safe, accepting and empathic relationship for you to explore whatever's troubling you.
I have helped people suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, low self esteem, grief and more.
Alongside my private practice I also provide counselling for a secondary school in Reading.
As well as being a counsellor, I enjoy writing spoken word poetry. Where appropriate I try to bring this creativity to my counselling work, through the use of metaphor and imagery to help you explore and understand yourself.
I have a particular interest in how social and environmental issues such as climate change can affect our mental health, and providing a space for people to voice these concerns and find a way forward.
A strong relationship between you and your counsellor is the most important factor in helping bringing about change, and so I offer the first session at half price to help you decide if I'm the right counsellor for you.
