About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist based in Hackney. My approach is warm, authentic and relationship-led. I am most interested in the connections we make with one another and how good connections can lead to a healthier, happier life.
I work with individuals, couples and families, and also run groups. I offer both time-limited (typically around 12 sessions) and longer-term, open-ended therapy. Sessions are once weekly and last 50 minutes each.
I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, California. I trained as a Marriage and Family therapist with Richmond Area Multi Services (RAMS) in San Francisco, California, where I gained extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families from diverse backgrounds. I also have substantial experience working in perinatal mental health, and continue to run workshops for new mothers and their babies at various locations in East London.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I am committed to my own personal development as a practitioner: I attend regular clinical supervision to support my work and undertake continuing professional development to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.
